The Premier League officially announced the nominees for the August Manager of the Month award. Arsenal manager Arteta, Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso, Manchester City manager Maresca and Hull City manager Jakirovic have been selected.
All four teams maintained perfect records in the first two rounds of the new Premier League season. Among them, Manchester City scored 6 goals and conceded 2, Arsenal scored 4 goals and kept clean sheets, Hull City scored 3 goals and also kept clean sheets, while Chelsea scored 7 goals and conceded 5.
After the first two rounds of the Premier League, only these four teams have maintained perfect records, and they also currently occupy the top four positions, respectively: Manchester City, Arsenal, Hull City and Chelsea.
