Official: Crystal Palace forward Matheus França joins Portuguese club Avsiv on loan

According to an official announcement, Crystal Palace forward Matheus França has joined Portuguese club Avsiv on loan.
Avsiv officially announced that the club has signed Matheus França from Crystal Palace on loan.
Matheus França came through the youth academy of Brazilian giants Flamengo and performed impressively at youth level, winning the Brazil U17 Championship and the Brazil U17 Cup with the team. He also represented Brazil's youth national teams at various levels and won the 2019 South American U15 Championship with the team.
In 2021, the 17-year-old França made his official first-team debut. The following year, he made 23 appearances for Flamengo, scoring 6 goals, and helped the team win the Copa do Brasil and the Copa Libertadores.
After gradually becoming a key player for Flamengo, França joined Crystal Palace in the 2023/24 season to compete in the Premier League. In the 2024/25 season, he won the FA Cup with Crystal Palace.
In 2025 and 2026, França was loaned to Vasco da Gama on two occasions.
In his first interview after joining Avsiv, França said: "I am ready to give my all and help the team win matches."
