Before the team's presentation ceremony to fans for the Gamper Trophy, Flick had temporarily appointed Raphinha, Pedri and Eric Garcia as captains while waiting for the final voting results.

According to information obtained by Mundo Deportivo, Flick decided that Raphinha and Pedri would continue as the team's first and second captains. This arrangement reflects their influence within the team and their leadership on the pitch and in the dressing room. In particular, Raphinha is the player Flick trusts the most.

In the subsequent vote, the team selected three more captains. The final choices were Eric Garcia, Frenkie de Jong and the 19-year-old Yamal.
