In an exclusive interview with SportMediaset, Yashari said that he hopes to show his best self at Milan.

Yashari experienced a relatively difficult season last year. Although he was not part of Milan's 2026 recruitment plans, considering what happened last season, he can almost be regarded as a new signing. Yashari said: “I want to show my best self, and this club deserves that from me.”
Speaking about the changes brought by Amorim, Yashari said: “He is a new coach. From the first day I returned to the team after my holiday, he brought new energy. This change belongs not only to the whole team, but also affects the entire environment and everyone working here. As players, we can feel that this is something fresh and different, and it is moving in the right direction.”
Regarding what Amorim has asked of him on the pitch, Yashari said: “His football philosophy is very clear. We have to understand how he wants us to play, and in my position, I need to precisely understand what to do in different situations: where to position myself with the ball and without the ball, and when to make forward runs. As matches and training progress, we will become increasingly clear about what to do on the pitch.”
On whether he can prove his ability this season, Yashari said: “I hope so. As everyone knows, I truly did not have the opportunity to show myself last season. My goal is to become the best version of myself and the player who can contribute the best performances for the team. As long as I get playing opportunities and find my rhythm, I can reach that level. I will do everything I can and use my qualities to help the team.”
Speaking about the Juventus versus Milan match, Yashari said: “These kinds of games are very important. Of course, other matches are equally important, and every match must be won, but in these types of encounters you can feel the fans and the history behind them. We must be prepared, play a great match, and use it to show how far our style of play has progressed.”
Regarding previous reports that Juventus were interested in him, Yashari said: “To be honest, I was on holiday during that period, first during the World Cup and then afterwards as well. After the new coach situation became clear, I spoke with him. My only wish and goal is to reach the highest level at this club. I will give everything for this, and I have not thought much about other things.”
Speaking about still not having scored for Milan and whether the match against Juventus could be the opportunity to score his first goal, Yashari said: “That would of course be fantastic! I had a chance last week, but the timing was not right. I am looking forward to scoring my first Milan goal, and if I can do it in such an important match, that would be great.”
