Forbes: Barcelona Rise to Second-Most Valuable Football Club Globally, Real Madrid Top List at $9.5 Billion

According to Forbes' latest ranking, Real Madrid rank first among football clubs worldwide with a valuation of $9.5 billion, while Barcelona have risen to second place with a valuation of $7.5 billion, surpassing Manchester United's $7.2 billion valuation.

Barcelona's valuation has increased significantly compared with before. It should be noted that Forbes used data from the end of the 2024-25 season for this ranking, meaning it does not yet fully reflect the commercial value brought by the gradual return of operations at Spotify Camp Nou.

Barcelona are expected to announce their financial data for the 2025-26 season on Monday. The club previously projected revenue for this season to be close to €1.1 billion, higher than the €994 million recorded in the 2024-25 season.

As the Camp Nou redevelopment project continues, Barcelona still have room to further increase their valuation in the future. The stadium's final capacity is expected to reach 104,600, with around 9,400 VIP seats. These commercial revenues are expected to further strengthen the club's income-generating ability.

Mundo Deportivo believes that the current valuation rankings do not yet fully reflect the commercial potential after the complete renovation of Camp Nou. At that point, Barcelona's matchday revenue, VIP operations, and other stadium-related commercial projects are expected to grow further.

In this Forbes ranking, Liverpool are fourth with a valuation of $6.2 billion, Paris Saint-Germain are fifth at $5.8 billion, while Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur rank sixth through tenth respectively.
