Man Utd New Signing Baleba's Debut Time Confirmed by Manager

Carlos Baleba is set to make his Manchester United debut. Manager Michael Carrick revealed the planned timing for the Cameroonian midfielder's first appearance ahead of the team's away match against Everton this weekend.

Manchester United have recorded one win and one defeat in the first two rounds of the Premier League this season. They lost 0-2 away to newly promoted Hull City in the opening round and won 5-2 at home against Ipswich Town in the second round.

Manchester United signed Baleba from Brighton at the end of August for a total transfer fee of £70 million, including an initial fee of £65 million and £5 million in add-ons. His arrival was intended to fill the midfield gap left by Casemiro's departure.

Baleba made 31 Premier League appearances last season, with total playing time close to 1,700 minutes. He averaged more than three ball recoveries per game, won an average of six duels, and contributed one interception and one tackle per match.

While confirming Baleba's debut timing, Carrick also provided updates on the injury recovery progress of Mason Mount and Luke Shaw. Mount performed positively in training this week, while Shaw trained alongside captain Bruno Fernandes on Thursday.

Manchester United will next enter Champions League action, and Baleba's return timing coincides with a busy schedule. His arrival is regarded as an important step in the team's midfield rebuild, and with Champions League matches approaching, the new signing's debut could mark a new starting point for United's midfield adjustments.
