Sky Sport commentator and former Italy goalkeeper Luca Marchegiani spoke to the Sports Post about European competitions, sharing his views on Italian teams' performances in continental tournaments.
Speaking about Milan and Juventus competing in the Europa League this season, Luca Marchegiani said: "These two teams have complete squads and both need passion. They must approach the matches with the ambition of competing for the final title, and this is also something that all of Italian football needs."
"The situation is the same for Atalanta in the Conference League. Although I have not been fully satisfied with their performances in the first few league rounds, they are currently unbeaten. They must adapt to Sarri's new ideas."
