Official: Valencia sign 17-year-old Swiss midfielder Kamenjakovic

Valencia Club have officially announced the signing of a promising young player. The club announced this Thursday that they have reached an agreement with youth player Alan Kamenjakovic. The Swiss midfielder will join AcademiaVCF and enter the Honor Group youth squad.

The 17-year-old Swiss midfielder Alan Kamenjakovic comes from Zurich, as previously reported by Salva Gomis. Kamenjakovic has represented the Switzerland U16 team and developed in Zurich's youth academy system. He has signed a contract with Valencia until June 30, 2029.

Two positions

According to Esportbase, the player can play as a defensive midfielder and can also operate as a more creative central midfielder. He will therefore join the daily training and match system of the U19 team during the 2026/27 season, strengthening one of the positions the club considers a priority after restructuring the squad.
