Gakpo Proves Himself Again: How Will Iraola Use His Position?

Including this match, Gakpo has recorded one goal and two assists in Liverpool's first three Premier League games of the new season. He scored in the opener against Newcastle, provided an assist against Nottingham Forest last round, and directly contributed to two goals in this match. In Liverpool's most competitive attacking position, the Netherlands international has shown with three consecutive consistent performances that he should not be left on the bench.

It is worth noting that two years ago, also at Ipswich, Slot, Klopp's successor, earned his first victory as Liverpool manager, which was also a 2-0 win.
