Juventus and AC Milan will meet in the third round of the league. Both teams are still in a period of adjustment, and their tactical approaches continue to evolve. However, this clash at Juventus' home stadium, Allianz Stadium, carries significant weight, not only because of the history, tradition, and reputation of the two clubs.

Milan have not defeated Juventus in Serie A since May 28, 2023. On that occasion, Giroud scored Milan's most recent winning goal against Juventus, and the match was also directly related to whether Milan could qualify for the Champions League.

Since then, the two sides have faced each other six times in the league, with Milan recording four draws and two defeats, while their league goal drought against Juventus has approached 600 minutes.

Amorim needs to break this spell and aim to secure three consecutive league wins at the start of the season after defeating Torino and Venezia.

If Milan take all three points, Amorim will become the first head coach in nearly 70 years to win the first three league rounds while managing Milan in his debut season.
