To maximize profits, FC Barcelona has recently proposed a notable plan: building a modern theme park inside Camp Nou. The proposal comes with a significant background — in the recently concluded 2025/2026 season, thanks to the reopening of Camp Nou, Barcelona's annual revenue broke the €1 billion mark for the first time.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the theme park project will be formally submitted for review at the members' assembly on September 19. To ensure professional operation of the project, Barcelona plans to establish a strategic partnership with indoor entertainment design specialist Babylon Park Spain SL. The concept is a key part of the overall Espai Barca redevelopment plan, aiming to transform the renovated Camp Nou from a purely football venue into an all-day tourism destination, allowing it to maintain strong commercial appeal even on non-matchdays.

From an economic perspective, the new entertainment center would not only create a new commercial revenue channel for the club, but also provide global fans and visitors with a more diverse immersive experience. Through this cross-industry business model, Barcelona could further enhance its commercial value in the global sports industry. More importantly, the profits generated would directly support sporting operations, providing the club with more financial resources to strengthen the squad and recruit players in future transfer markets. Camp Nou is evolving from a purely sporting stadium into a world-leading integrated entertainment landmark.
