But everything is very clear, and I believe that as the matches and training sessions continue, what we need to do on the pitch will become increasingly clear.

For all foreign players, the first season in Italy is always difficult, isn't it? Do you think this will be the season to show your ability? Will it be the right time?

Yes, I hope so. I hope so because, as everyone knows, I did not get many opportunities to show myself last season. My goal is to become the best version of myself and show my best form on the pitch for the team. Therefore, when I get the chance to play and find my rhythm, I can reach that level. This is definitely my goal for this season, and I will give everything and use my ability to help the team.

The high-profile Juventus vs. Milan match is coming up. Is this a test of character? A test of the potential of the new Milan?

Yes, without a doubt. I also experienced last season how important these kinds of matches are. Obviously, other matches are important too, and we have to win every game, but in a contest of this level, you can truly feel the passion of the fans and the history behind the match... The feeling is completely different. Therefore, it is crucial to be fully prepared for this big match, and it is also an excellent opportunity to see how far our current playing style has developed.

There were previous reports that Juventus were interested in you. Can you reveal whether that was true or false?

To be honest, I was on holiday during that period, first during the World Cup and then afterwards as well. When the situation with the new coach became clear, I communicated with him. My only wish and goal is to reach my highest level at this club, and I will give everything for that. As for other things, I did not think about them at all.

You also play padel in your spare time, right? Are you better at padel or football?

No, no, of course football! But padel is a sport that we players really enjoy in our free time. It is a good way to stay active without consuming too much energy. Whenever I have a little free time, I like to play with my teammates.

New coach, new plans, new players. What did you say to the new teammates?

I actually did not say much to them, because they are players who are already used to certain big occasions. For example, Gonzalo has long been accustomed to playing at top clubs. I welcomed them in the same way others welcomed me when I first arrived: for me, it is important to make them feel at home. Most importantly, everyone needs to feel comfortable so that we can work together toward the same goal.

When you were nine years old, you went to San Siro to watch Milan play Barcelona. Now you have become a Milan player. Does it feel like a dream?

Yes, absolutely. I also said when I arrived that wearing the Milan shirt is a dream for countless people and young players, and I am experiencing all of this. But I am also an ambitious person. Simply being a member of the club is not enough for me: I want to prove my value to the team and the fans.

Good question! It is difficult to judge at the training ground because we all prioritize comfort. But I occasionally notice that Luka (Modric) has a lot of experience with outfits, and Pavlovic sometimes dresses very well too.
