Official: Manchester United's 18-year-old right-back James Overy completes transfer to Sydney FC

On September 7 Beijing time, Manchester United officially announced that young defender James Overy has left the club and joined Sydney FC.
James Overy had previously posted a farewell message to Manchester United, and the Red Devils have now confirmed the departure of the Australia U23 international.
James Overy transferred from Perth Glory to Manchester United in the summer of 2024. Since then, he has made a combined 26 appearances for Manchester United's U18 and U21 teams, but he never received an opportunity to play for the Manchester United first team.
Manchester United have now confirmed that James Overy has officially left the club and joined Sydney FC.
