Arteta: Playing at the Emirates is now a pleasure, and we need to use this advantage

In the third round of the Premier League, Arsenal came from behind to defeat Chelsea 2-1 at home. After the match, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was interviewed by Viaplay.

Mikel, I have been covering football here for more than 15 years. The atmosphere, the confidence, and everything about this place now seem to be different.

I don't know if that is really the case, but if it is, it is certainly great to hear. If this is a positive change that can take us to a different level while also keeping us humble, then that would be fantastic.

I really enjoy watching the team play. The way we play, the way we play football, the way we attack, and the intensity we show during matches all look like an absolute pleasure.

Do you agree that now, here at this stadium, even when the team concedes early, something that may have caused some nervousness in previous seasons, the team still remains confident, keeps moving forward, keeps applying pressure, and keeps attacking?

We have given ourselves no reason to feel that kind of nervousness, because after conceding we immediately started attacking, kept pushing forward, and perhaps that also lifted the fans. The atmosphere at the stadium was once again fantastic today. Now, playing football at this stadium is a pleasure, and that is an advantage we need to make use of.

For you, this was also a special match. On the other side was Xabi Alonso, and the two of you as managers produced a true top-level contest.

It was a difficult match, and it was excellent from start to finish. I think it was a very entertaining game, and the spectators at the stadium certainly enjoyed it. We enjoyed the final result. Personally, when analyzing the team's performance, I think they were outstanding.

I have to ask about Martin Odegaard. His form this season has been very impressive. What do you think?

He missed many matches last season. I remember he was out for around four or five months, which was a very long period. You can feel that he now has a sense of determination, a desire, and a personality that wants to keep growing, keep improving, and make himself better than he is today. I mean, his performance today was excellent.

Now he is even scoring goals?
