The 25-year-old Arsenal forward Martinelli has officially joined Al Hilal, with the transfer fee reaching as high as €70 million. Martinelli has ended his seven-year career with the Gunners, and Arsenal shared a photo of Martinelli with the Premier League trophy on social media to express their gratitude.

Gabriel Martinelli has officially transferred to Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.

Martinelli joined Arsenal from Brazilian club Ituano in July 2019, making 278 appearances in all competitions for the team and scoring 62 goals.

During his seven years at Arsenal, the 25-year-old played a crucial role, helping the team win last season's Premier League title, the 2020 FA Cup, and the 2023 Community Shield.

During this period, Martinelli also became a member of the Brazil national team, making 27 appearances for Brazil and participating in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics (where he won the gold medal), the 2024 Copa America, and the 2022 and 2026 World Cups.
