Mundo Deportivo: Atletico Madrid to face Liverpool away, Sorloth injured and Ortiz suspended

According to Mundo Deportivo, Atletico Madrid will face Liverpool away in the first round of the Champions League league phase, but Sorloth will miss the match due to injury and Ortiz will be unavailable because of suspension.

Atletico Madrid will travel to Liverpool on Tuesday and face Liverpool at Anfield at 3:00 Beijing time on Thursday in their opening Champions League league phase match. Simeone will be without two players.

One of them is Sorloth, who was injured one week before the official start of the new season. Due to a muscle contracture, Sorloth has been unable to take part in full team training since then and has not played any matches. Before that, the referee had already sent off two other Slask Wroclaw players, and the Polish side were eventually eliminated after conceding a goal late in the match.
