On September 7 Beijing time, according to Italian journalist Schira, Paolo Vanoli will return as Fiorentina head coach, with the deal completed and confirmed.
The journalist stated: "Deal completed and confirmed! Paolo Vanoli returns as Fiorentina head coach, with a contract until 2028."
Paolo Vanoli previously served as Fiorentina head coach from November 2025 to June 2026, leading the team in 38 matches and recording 14 wins, 11 draws, and 13 losses, with a win rate of 36.8%.
