After the pre-match press conference for Real Madrid's Champions League match against Inter Milan at the Santiago Bernabeu, an amusing moment occurred as Real Madrid manager and former Inter Milan great manager Jose Mourinho received a small gift from an Italian journalist.
Journalist: "Can I give you something?"
Mourinho: "Yes, but I won't pay you for it."
Journalist: "A sprinkler."
The sprinkler joke referred to the second leg of the 2009-10 Champions League semi-final, when Inter Milan lost 0-1 to Barcelona at Camp Nou but advanced to the final with a 3-2 aggregate score.
After the match, Inter Milan manager Mourinho ran around Camp Nou to celebrate, and the sprinkler system on the pitch was turned on shortly afterward.
