According to AS, Barcelona have recorded losses for the third consecutive financial year, with accounting losses of €18 million.

Barcelona's representative members will approve the club's accounts at the assembly to be held this Saturday the 19th. The club recorded record revenue of €1.06 billion in the current financial year, €15 million below the budgeted €1.075 billion. As in the previous season, the club stated that recurring income and expenses achieved a profit of €200,000, while special expenses were the main factor affecting the accounts.
The impairment of Barça Productions remains the biggest issue. In the recently completed financial year, the club further reduced the company's value by €23 million, lowering its book value to €116 million. In the 2023/24 financial year, the then auditors had already required Barcelona to make a provision of €141 million for amounts owed by investors in Barça Vision. At that time, Barcelona valued the company at €408 million. In the following financial year, Barcelona further reduced the related value by €90 million based on its more than 50% stake, bringing the valuation down to €178 million. Barcelona currently holds a 63% stake.
Apart from these issues, Barcelona's main revenue streams are still growing. Sponsors contributed €265 million in the current financial year, an increase of €5 million compared with the previous year; BLM revenue reached €208 million, up €40 million from the 2024-25 season. Stadium revenue has also improved compared with last season.
The representative members will also review the budget for this season. Barcelona will be able to use Spotify Camp Nou throughout the entire season, and the stadium capacity will gradually increase. The club expects revenue of €1.195 billion this season, with recurring income and expenses showing a small profit of €1 million.
For Barcelona's board, the most important issue at the assembly will be expanding the credit facility to complete the Spotify Camp Nou project. The board will ask members to approve borrowing "up to another €300 million" to complete the stadium construction, with Goldman Sachs responsible for designing the financing operation together with long-term institutional investors.
