Yildiz underwent the surgery to treat an injury to the fifth metatarsal of his left foot sustained during the match against Frosinone. The German Hirslanden Park Clinic, which performed the surgery, announced the news and shared the first photos of Yildiz using crutches.

The Hirslanden Park Clinic wrote on social media: "We wish Yildiz a speedy recovery. Following the foot surgery, we wish this Juventus professional player a smooth and complete recovery. We wish you strength and patience, and most importantly, a quick return to the pitch! When top athletes need to return to the highest level of competition in a very short time, experience, precision and close teamwork are crucial. Our foot specialist Dr. Martin Jordan and the entire Hirslanden Park Clinic team thank you for your trust."

Next, Yildiz will enter the rehabilitation phase and is expected to return in approximately 2-3 months.
