Dortmund Loan Nwaneri and Highlight Five English Players in Club History: Sancho and the Bellingham Brothers Included

Before the transfer window closed, Borussia Dortmund signed 19-year-old English midfielder Nwaneri on loan from Arsenal. Dortmund officially highlighted five English players in the club's history, all of whom were signings made in the past 10 years.
In the summer of 2017, Dortmund signed Sancho from Manchester City's youth team, with him becoming the first English player in Dortmund's history. After that, Dortmund signed Bellingham in 2020, Gittens in 2022, Jobe Bellingham in 2025, and completed a loan deal for Nwaneri this summer.
These English players have generally delivered outstanding performances at Dortmund and have all generated significant returns. Sancho brought in a transfer fee of 85 million euros, Bellingham brought in 127 million euros, and Gittens brought in 56 million euros.
