According to Mundo Deportivo, Kael Rodriguez Martin, the son of former Barcelona player Pedro, recently represented Barcelona U11B at the Royal Elite Cup and scored a goal in the competition.

The tournament was organized by Pedro and held in Tenerife. Kael is currently a youth player at Athletic Sant Just, and he represented Barcelona U11B as an invited player on this occasion, quickly adapting to the team.
Kael plays as an attacking midfielder. Although he is not tall, he has excellent technical ability and strong competitive awareness, showing good chemistry with Barcelona U11B coached by Paco Reverter. Besides Kael, left-back Edgar, midfielder Bruno, and forward Adonai also delivered good performances.
Barcelona U11B defeated Sporting CP 2-1, host side Matansa-Culegas 4-0, and Villarreal 2-1 in the group stage before losing to eventual champions Real Betis. Kael scored in the match against Sporting CP.
Pedro was also at the venue to witness his son represent Barcelona and score a goal. At present, Kael is expected to continue playing for Athletic Sant Just. If he can maintain his progress, he may have the opportunity in the future to follow the professional path his father once took.
