German Media: Arsenal, Manchester United, Milan and Juventus Interested in Svensson, Dortmund Want €40 Million

According to German media outlet Fussballdaten, Arsenal are one of four top clubs closely monitoring Borussia Dortmund left-back Daniel Svensson ahead of the January transfer window.

The Gunners experienced a disappointing summer transfer window, with moves for Morgan Rogers, Vinicius and Julian Alvarez failing to materialize. However, they did complete the signings of Guimaraes, Konsa, Tzolis and Melye, and also made Hincapie's move permanent.

Arsenal have started their Premier League title defense campaign in perfect fashion this season, winning all three matches. Before entering the final stage of the season, the January transfer window could provide another boost for the team.

Fussballdaten reports that Arsenal are one of the few clubs closely watching Svensson. The 24-year-old joined Borussia Dortmund last summer and has impressed with his performances this season. He has started every match so far and has played in different positions, including centre-back, left midfield, left-back and right midfield.

His ability to operate in multiple positions is said to have attracted Arsenal's attention, but the Gunners are not the only interested club. Manchester United, AC Milan and Juventus are also believed to be interested in him.

Borussia Dortmund reportedly view the Sweden international as an important rotation option, and the club would only consider negotiations if an offer of around €35 million to €40 million (£30 million to £39 million) is made.
