Giuseppe Commisso accepted the award on behalf of Fiorentina at the Nereo Rocco Award ceremony and said that the club hopes to build the next century.

Giuseppe Commisso said: “I want to thank the Settignanese club for awarding me the Nereo Rocco Award. Being able to accept this honor on behalf of myself and all Fiorentina members, I feel extremely honored. This is a very important moment for us, as it comes during the club’s centenary year. I believe this award truly belongs to everyone who has been part of the club’s history: all the presidents, all the great players, such as Giancarlo Antognoni who is in front of us today, as well as all the staff and everyone who has worked hard to make all of this possible.”
Giuseppe Commisso said: “This award is very special to me because my father Rocco also received this honor in 2020. This is an award presented to Fiorentina, and it is a very emotional moment for me and my family. We are proud of this and proud of the club’s century-long history. Now, our goal is to build the next century.”
Giuseppe Commisso said: “Giving something back to Italian football is one of our responsibilities. Therefore, we are investing heavily in youth development, hoping to promote the growth of Italian football. In my view, this is also a shared responsibility for everyone, because we must invest more in players so that Italian football as a whole can continue to improve. So I want to say thank you to Fiorentina, thank you to Fiorentina, come on Viola!”
