Globo Esporte: Ziyech Close to Joining Botafogo

According to Globo Esporte, Hakim Ziyech is very close to becoming a new Botafogo signing. The 33-year-old Moroccan player has terminated his contract with Wydad Casablanca. Although he made limited appearances for the team, he was directly involved in several goals. Globo Esporte reviewed his experience at the club.
Botafogo will welcome its new signing this Tuesday. Ziyech will arrive in Rio de Janeiro at 19:45 Beijing time on the 19th, and will then sign a contract with the Rio-based club until December 2028. The club is preparing a grand welcome ceremony for him at Galeão Airport.
Ziyech previously played for Ajax and Chelsea. When he returned to Morocco to join Wydad Casablanca, his form was not ideal. He had previously suffered injuries at Galatasaray and Al-Duhail, before returning to his home country to play at his mother's request.
