Official: Liverpool Sign 17-Year-Old Midfielder Murray-Holm to First Professional Contract

On September 8 Beijing time, it was officially announced that Liverpool have signed 17-year-old midfielder Murray-Holm to his first professional contract.

According to the official announcement, Hayden Murray-Holm has signed his first professional contract with Liverpool Football Club.

The 17-year-old player signed the contract at the AXA Training Centre, ensuring the continuation of his long-term connection with the Reds.

Murray-Holm joined the club's youth system at the age of six and progressed through the academy ranks, becoming a regular player for the U-18 team.

The midfielder, who was born in Wirral, was a consistent starter for Simon Wiles' team last season and experienced the UEFA Youth League for the first time.

"I joined the pre-academy at the age of six. After I was scouted, I have been here ever since, and I received a scholarship at 16."

"I see myself as a creative player, good at passing, able to handle the ball in tight spaces, and I like creating chances. I enjoy expressing myself on the pitch."

When asked what areas he hoped to improve in the new season, he added: "Probably continuing to improve my ability without the ball, and sometimes my decision-making when I have possession."
