According to Marca, Deportivo La Coruña's sporting director confirmed that the club will continue investing in facilities and sporting areas.

Deportivo La Coruña CEO Massimo Benassi said this morning that the club has always operated below the salary cap because La Liga has strict requirements in this area. He is very satisfied with the squad that has been assembled and is also pleased that the club's social issues have been resolved.
Deportivo La Coruña is a financially healthy club, which makes strengthening the squad easier. He said: "The salary cap includes not only the first team, but also the women's team and the reserve team, as well as commissions and amortization... The total amount may slightly exceed 50 million euros."
He is also satisfied with the current squad: "There are two players in every position, and in some positions even more than two. We thank Atlético Madrid and Barcelona for helping us bring in Marc (Casadó) and José María (Giménez)... We still have room until December, but I want to emphasize again that this squad is very balanced."
Massimo Benassi explained that the work for this preseason preparation actually began several months ago. "Because there was no debt and because two capital increases were carried out, this helped us complete signings and maintain planned financial control since 2023."
For the club, it is very important to have no risks in sporting planning. He said: "We will continue investing in facilities and sporting areas. If we make fewer moves in the transfer market, it may mean that our academy players are developing well, which is a good thing for us. We will always do this without taking risks."
The clear objective is survival.
Benassi emphasized that the team will not forget where it came from. He said: "We still need 37 points because we already have 8 points now. We will focus on Getafe first, until we reach 45 points. We will not forget those stadiums in Primera Federación."
Social issues have been resolved.
The club CEO also discussed his view on disagreements between the fans and the club, saying he is willing to take responsibility. He said: "We will always criticize ourselves, all responsibility lies with me, and I accept that responsibility. That period was very difficult. I believe neither Deportivo fans nor the club should have experienced the first match after returning to La Liga in that way. Once things are discussed openly, everyone can understand. In the future, we will definitely move forward together. Deportivo fans and the club united will be much stronger."
Several players have a market.
Benassi said that many people had already asked about the team's players during the summer. He concluded: "Yeremay, Eddahchouri, Nubi, Mella... These players all have a market, and we have received many calls regarding their situations."
