Continue the boycott, Italian media: Lazio fans are expected to remain absent for home match against Milan

According to Milan News, when Lazio host AC Milan, the Stadio Olimpico in Rome is expected to once again have no fans in attendance.

After Lazio defeated Udinese away from home, they are level at the top of the table with Roma and Inter Milan. Despite the team's strong start to the season, fan groups will continue to boycott home matches. The fan groups have repeatedly stressed that their absence from the Olimpico is not due to the league position or the team's performances, but to express their dissatisfaction with the club and its ownership.

Lazio previously had 2,000 fans travel to Udine to support the team, but for this high-profile match against AC Milan, unless there is a change at the last moment, the home stands are expected to remain empty.

Previous appeals from Fabiani and later from Gattuso did not change the fans' decision. After the match in Udine, Gattuso said: "The fans' stance is firm and they will not change their minds." Even though Lazio are currently top of the table, the situation has not changed.
