Schmeichel believes Chelsea goalkeeper Martinez will become the best signing in the Premier League this season.

Chelsea had originally planned to continue using Robert Sanchez as their first-choice goalkeeper this season, but nine days ago the club signed Martinez from Aston Villa for £7.5 million.
Sanchez subsequently joined Serie A side Como on loan, with the loan spell covering the remainder of this season.
Martinez is a member of Argentina's World Cup-winning squad and has extensive Premier League experience. Schmeichel believes Chelsea have found a cost-effective 'world-class' goalkeeper.
"I have to say the amounts in the transfer market are now extremely exaggerated, and I really don't understand how clubs can maintain this level of investment," Schmeichel said.
"I have looked through a number of signing lists, and there is one name that everyone has overlooked, and that is Emi Martinez. In my opinion, he could become the best signing of the season."
"His transfer fee was only £7.5 million, yet he is a top, top world-class goalkeeper. Top level, for only £7.5 million."
"If we are all astonished by the transfer market, this is exactly a reflection of the current market reality. I think this is the craziest transfer window in history."
Speaking about the signing of Martinez, Xabi Alonso said: "Emi is a World Cup winner, he is 33 years old, and he has a great deal of experience."
"I have spoken with him, and we discussed the matches and this team. He is ready, and I do not need to give him too many instructions for him to deliver a good performance."
"Even now, the goalkeeper's objective is to keep a clean sheet, and I am already satisfied with the impact he has brought. He has only been at the club for 48 hours, and we will have a full week to prepare for the next match."
"Day after day, we can feel his presence. He has personal charisma and a strong presence, allowing him to drive the whole team and build very positive chemistry with his teammates."
