Schmeichel: Rashford's New Tattoo Shows His Determination to Push for 30 Goals

Marcus Rashford has impressed since returning to Manchester United, and Peter Schmeichel believes his new tattoo highlights his determination to push for 30 goals.

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Schmeichel said Rashford's new tattoo shows that he intends to challenge for another 30-goal season with Manchester United. In Sunday's 2-2 draw between Manchester United and Everton, Rashford performed well, and Schmeichel also praised the 28-year-old player.

Last summer, Rashford joined Barcelona on loan, with a purchase option included in the deal. Although Barcelona ultimately did not activate the option, Rashford has continued to be linked with transfer speculation since then.

After Carrick took charge of Manchester United, Rashford returned to the squad and started consecutive Premier League matches against Ipswich and Everton.

This season, Rashford wears Manchester United's number 9 shirt. The lifelong United supporter has also added the number 9 to his tattoo collection of shirt numbers he has previously worn. A social media post last week showed that he had also added the number 14 shirt he wore during his loan spell at Barcelona last season.
