Costacurta: Milan Cannot Challenge for the Key Serie A Race, but They and Juventus Are the Strongest in the Europa League

In an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Costacurta said that AC Milan under Amorim would find it difficult to challenge for the Serie A title, but he could not see any team in the Europa League stronger than Milan and Juventus.

Costacurta said: “Can AC Milan challenge for the title? No, they are not as strong as Inter Milan. They can certainly compete for Champions League qualification.
