The report states that the breakdown in the relationship between the two sides was related to events that occurred before Grosso's dismissal. Before the club officially decided to change coaches, Grosso was the first to express strong doubts about whether he could continue leading the team, while also lacking confidence in his ability to find solutions and help the team overcome its difficulties.

However, despite expressing these concerns, Grosso did not resign voluntarily. Fiorentina ultimately chose to dismiss him directly. The club is now considering resolving the issues between the two sides through disciplinary measures.

The team's poor start to the season has also intensified tensions between the two sides. During Grosso's tenure, Fiorentina lost all three of their first matches, scoring only one goal while conceding nine, creating a major contrast with the club's ambitions before the season began.

Especially considering Fiorentina's investment in the transfer market this summer, the club's management believes such performances are unacceptable. According to Transfermarkt data, Fiorentina's summer spending on new signings reached 150 million euros, making them the third-highest spending club in Serie A, behind AC Milan's 165 million euros and Juventus' 164 million euros.
