In his Liverpool debut, Barcola recorded a top speed of 35.93 km/h, setting the fastest sprint speed in the Premier League this season.

After coming on as a substitute in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Ipswich Town, Barcola needed less than 10 minutes of his Premier League career to break the fastest speed record of the season.
The French winger came on in the 84th minute and, six minutes after entering the match, reached a top speed of 35.93 km/h at Portman Road. This was also his first Premier League appearance for the Reds after joining Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
Barcola's explosiveness put him at the top of the Premier League speed rankings this season, ahead of Manchester United's Bryan Mbeumo. Mbeumo recorded 35.36 km/h in the third-round match against Everton.
Coventry City full-back Milan van Ewijk and Chelsea winger Pedro Neto are tied for third place, with both recording top speeds of 35.26 km/h in second-round matches.
