Bergomi: Bisseck Can Limit Mbappe and Vinicius

Inter Milan will face Real Madrid in the opening round of the Champions League league phase, and Bergomi discussed the team's lineup choices and match preparations before the game.

Before the match, former Inter Milan player and current commentator Giuseppe Bergomi said one possible issue Inter Milan could face is the hot weather. He said: "Inter Milan played a very demanding match three days ago. To be honest, I originally thought the climate here would be different."

Bergomi added: "But nobody should make excuses. I am certain that Chivu and the players will not do that. Playing in the Champions League requires raising your level. If Inter Milan want to bounce back from last season's performance, they must improve their level."

Speaking about Chivu's lineup decisions, Bergomi said: "Jones is a player with great explosiveness. In the Champions League, no team will sit deep and defend, so he will have space to attack opponents and show his ability to make late runs from midfield. I also like the arrangement of starting Diouf and having Carlos Augusto play on the left. Inter Milan could even consider defending in a 4-4-2 formation. I also agree with using Bisseck as a centre-back. He is the fastest defender and can limit the impact of Mbappe and Vinicius."
