According to Di Marzio's official website, Juventus captain Locatelli is expected to be sidelined until 2027 due to surgery on his lateral meniscus.

Locatelli was injured during Juventus' home match against AC Milan, but he stayed on and completed the full game. The following day, he updated his social media to express his frustration: "I won't lie, and I won't say nice words. I broke down. I finished the match the night before, and the next morning I never expected to suddenly face all of this."

Locatelli said that the surgery he underwent in Lyon was very successful, and he will now enter a lengthy rehabilitation period: "The surgery was very successful, and that is very important. Next, I need to rest for a while. Thinking about not being able to help my teammates and not being able to fight alongside them for this shirt is really difficult. Rehabilitation requires patience, but I will do everything I can to return in the best possible condition as soon as possible, just as I have always done."
