Meanwhile, a previous ESPN Brazil report stated that Estevao was unsure whether he would receive enough playing time under Alonso. However, The Daily Telegraph believes this is not considered a major issue.

Last season was Estevao's first campaign at Stamford Bridge, and he impressed, quickly becoming one of the most exciting young talents in world football. His huge potential and style of play have led people to compare him with Barcelona star Lamine Yamal. Jorrel Hato also praised Estevao highly last season, acknowledging that among teenagers he had seen playing at such a high level, perhaps only Yamal had done so.

However, it remains unclear whether Estevao fits Alonso's system. The arrival of Morgan Rogers this summer could also push the Brazilian further down the pecking order for playing opportunities. Chelsea have long been accustomed to major signings and frequent squad adjustments, and with constant managerial changes, it is difficult for outsiders to predict Estevao's—or anyone else's—specific position in the club's future plans.
