Romano: Modric Could Return to Real Madrid in a Management Role in the Future, Currently Focused on Milan

According to Romano in a post on his personal channel, Modric could return to Real Madrid in a management role in the future, but he is currently focused on his second season with Milan.

Romano said: “Right now, Modric is completely focused on Milan. The Croatian chose to remain at Milan at a time when the club was facing uncertainty, especially when the Rossoneri’s management situation was still unclear in early June. The club dismissed members of the management team and also parted ways with the head coach, whom Modric greatly admired, because Modric had a good relationship with Allegri.

Even so, he chose Milan, like a true Milan man, like someone who would not abandon ship in difficult times. This choice reflects everything about Modric, as well as his belief in the Rossoneri colors, his commitment to his own principles, and his desire to be a leader in turbulent times, rather than taking on that role only when everything is going well.

Modric is completely focused on Milan. Real Madrid are waiting for him to return in a management capacity, but the timing will be decided by Modric. I can guarantee 100 percent that, at present, the Croatian star’s mind is entirely on Milan and on doing his best while wearing the Rossoneri shirt.”
