Capello: Stones is not suited to the position Inter Milan are recruiting for

Former manager Fabio Capello discussed Inter Milan's match against Real Madrid on the Sky Sport program and gave his assessment of Inter's signings.

Capello said: "In my opinion, this is the most suitable lineup: the team knows each other well, and their attitude in the match is also correct. They should make use of the space on the pitch; this is the only way to catch Real Madrid off guard and defeat them. However, they need to be careful after conceding, because Real Madrid's speed is a major threat."

Speaking about Inter Milan's signings, Capello said: "This plan has been prepared very well, and some players can strengthen the squad. Their performances at San Siro will be as natural as they were in England; these players will bring more determination, intensity and experience. However, there is one player's signing position that I am not very convinced about, and I will name Stones directly. He is an excellent player at Manchester City and has often been deployed in midfield in the past. He may be very good at building attacks from the back, but he may have some shortcomings defensively."
