Before Paris Saint-Germain’s European campaign debut of the new season, Paris fans used a giant TIFO to pay tribute to Enrique.

The TIFO featured the words “Green Beach Enrique,” paying tribute to El Rincon’s Green Beach. A few weeks earlier, the beach had been named after Enrique.
Before Paris Saint-Germain’s match against Bratislava began, fans unveiled the TIFO. In the image, Enrique was sitting in a hammock, holding binoculars and looking into the distance, with Paris Saint-Germain’s club colors around him. There was also a backpack beside him containing the only two Champions League trophies in the club’s history, which were won in consecutive recent seasons. Another slogan was written below: “Don’t worry, Europe is ours.”
Paris Saint-Germain eventually defeated the Slovak team 5-1, with Ferran Torres scoring a hat-trick and Dembele scoring twice. Gijón mayor Carmen Moriyón later wrote on social media: “From Pumarín to the world, from his Green Beach to the Parc des Princes. Europe knows that the best coach in the world comes from Gijón.”
