Pochettino: I would always be willing to help Tottenham, no matter which division they are in

Pochettino discussed his Tottenham departure and relationship with Levy in an interview with The Guardian, saying he would always be willing to help Tottenham regardless of their division.

Had circumstances been different, Pochettino could have returned to Tottenham this summer. Their call moved him, even with the possibility of Championship football.

He said he would consider an England offer in the future, but not now and not while committed to the US team.

Pochettino said he respects Argentina and believes the World Cup semi-final was simply a football match rather than something beyond sport.

He still owns a home in north London and loves England, saying Argentines and English people share a passion for football.

Pochettino said his hometown had many British and Irish immigrants, so managing England would not be an absurd idea.

One reason for renewing with the US team was the trust shown by the federation, with the aim of building a new football culture.

The US team's World Cup ended with a 1-4 defeat to Belgium, with related controversy affecting the team.

Before that, the US had played well, beating Paraguay, Australia and Bosnia. Pochettino said the team developed strong unity.
