Gazzetta: Inter Milan Rank 29th Globally in Squad Investment, Eight Premier League Clubs in Top 10

Inter Milan rank 29th globally, far behind English clubs and even other teams in their own domestic league.

Among the top 10 clubs in the world that have spent the most to build their squads, eight are from England. La Gazzetta dello Sport noted that the figures highlight the strong financial power of English clubs today. Liverpool lead with €1.226 billion, followed by Manchester City with €1.209 billion, while Tottenham Hotspur rank third with €1.178 billion. Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal have also all surpassed €1 billion. Real Madrid rank seventh with €1.021 billion, followed by Paris FC.

Among Italian clubs, Juventus rank highest in 13th place with an investment of €584 million, though this is still less than half of Liverpool's figure. They are followed by Napoli (19th), AC Milan (22nd), Atalanta (28th), Inter Milan (29th), Como (33rd) and Roma (36th). Seven Serie A clubs are included in the global top 100, with total spending reaching €2.97 billion. The combined investment of the Premier League's top three clubs alone reaches €3.6 billion, exceeding the total of Serie A.

One of the new names in the top 20 is Al Hilal, coached by Simone Inzaghi. La Gazzetta dello Sport recalled that the club spent nearly €200 million on Martinelli, Summerville and Watkins this summer alone.
