In Napoli's match against Arsenal, De Bruyne and Di Lorenzo were involved in a rather intense argument, which was fully captured by the cameras. Napoli ultimately lost 0-1, and the captain confronted the Belgian midfielder over a defensive positioning issue, with De Bruyne not reacting particularly well. The two then exchanged words at the Maradona Stadium.
After the match, Di Lorenzo spoke about the incident himself: "This shows that we are still alive. It is normal to have a bit of emotion during a match: it was just a positioning issue that we did not communicate well enough.
