Beijing time, September 2: Tottenham officially announced that they have signed Ukrainian forward Mykhailo Mudryk on loan from Chelsea for one season. According to a report from Romano, the contract includes a buy option, with the fee set at £75 million.
In 2023, Mudryk joined Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk. After arriving at Stamford Bridge, Mudryk did not deliver performances matching his valuation, and he was later handed a lengthy suspension due to an anti-doping case. At the end of July this year, the Football Association of England officially announced that a settlement had been reached in the anti-doping disciplinary proceedings involving Mudryk. Mudryk ended his nearly two-year suspension and officially returned to competition.
