On September 2 Beijing time, Manchester City officially announced at the final stage of the summer transfer window that they had signed Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernández from Chelsea. According to previous reports, Enzo's transfer fee was £125 million, making him the biggest signing of this summer window.
Enzo is 25 years old. In January 2023, he moved from Benfica to Chelsea for a transfer fee of €121 million.
