The official nominees for the 2026 Ballon d'Or Cruyff Award have been announced, with five coaches shortlisted for Men's Coach of the Year, including four Spanish coaches.

Last season, two Spanish coaches, Arteta and Enrique, met in the Champions League final, and both won their respective league titles. Another Spanish coach, Emery, won the Europa League title, while 65-year-old Spanish veteran coach De la Fuente set the record as the oldest World Cup-winning coach.
