Champions League Roundup: Real Madrid Beat Inter Milan 2-1

Real Madrid hosted reigning Serie A champions Inter Milan at the Santiago Bernabeu in this round. In the 14th minute, Inter defender Bisseck made a passing error under pressure from Mbappe. Diaz collected the ball and played a through pass, and Mbappe fell and shot from the edge of the penalty area to make it 1-0.

Real Madrid scored again in the 23rd minute. Inter goalkeeper Martinez made a costly mistake near the edge of the six-yard box, and Valverde won the ball from him and scored.
