With 2026 only halfway through, the combined club and national team scoring rankings have already begun to separate. Kane's name sits at the top, and his lead is significant.

This ranking is compiled from Europe's top five leagues, covering club and national team matches, and lists the 10 players with the most goals in 2026 so far. The list includes stars from Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal and Bayern, along with some surprising names. Meanwhile, some big names who would normally be expected to appear are absent.

No. 10: Malen, 20 goals

After an unremarkable spell at Aston Villa, the Dutch forward moved to Roma in January this year and immediately found his form. He scored 20 goals in 23 appearances for the Giallorossi and earned a permanent move to the Stadio Olimpico with his performances.

Unfortunately, he left that form at club level. Malen has failed to score in his last seven appearances for the Netherlands, and in the final match before the Netherlands were eliminated early from the World Cup, he did not even get the chance to come on as a substitute.

No. 8: Yamal, 21 goals

Yamal has been discussed as a Ballon d'Or contender for a long time, and he is gradually using his statistics to fulfill those expectations.

The young player's goal output has increased season by season, and the 2025-26 campaign was no exception. His hat-trick against Villarreal in February was evidence of a player on the verge of a true breakthrough.
