Villa Reportedly Agree £50m Sale of Watkins, Set to Sign Jackson from Chelsea for £65m

According to Sky Sports, Premier League club Aston Villa have agreed to sell Watkins to Al Hilal for £50 million and are preparing to sign striker Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea for up to £65 million as his replacement. Jackson previously worked with Villa manager Unai Emery at Villarreal.

Aston Villa have agreed to sell Ollie Watkins to Al Hilal and will replace him with Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson.

It is understood that Watkins' transfer fee is £50 million, while Jackson will join from the Blues in a deal that could reach £65 million.

Watkins is eager to move to Saudi Arabia, with at least one previous offer having been rejected by Villa. Villa originally did not want to sell the England international, but they have now accepted Al Hilal's latest offer.

Chelsea's plan throughout the summer has been to sell Jackson and Delap. Atletico Madrid are also interested in Jackson, but may not be able to provide an offer as high as Villa's. Jackson previously worked with Villa manager Unai Emery at Villarreal.
