In the standings, Chengdu Rongcheng were held to a draw by Henan FC this round and missed the chance to win the title four rounds early. However, they still lead the table by 12 points over second-place Dalian Yingbo. Therefore, Chengdu Rongcheng's championship appears almost certain. The only scenario preventing it would be losing all of their remaining four matches while second-place Dalian Yingbo wins all four. For Rongcheng, securing just one draw in their final four matches would be enough to guarantee the CSL title.

Unlike Chengdu Rongcheng's dominant position and seemingly settled title race, the battle for second place has become extremely competitive. The biggest points gap among teams ranked second to sixth is only two points, and as many as five teams remain in contention for an AFC Champions League Two qualification spot.

After narrowly defeating Qingdao Hainiu this round, Dalian Yingbo moved above Beijing Guoan into second place with 40 points. Beijing Guoan, Yunnan Yukun, and Qingdao West Coast each finished the round with 38 points and ranked third through fifth respectively due to differences in goal difference. Beijing Guoan drew 0-0 away against defending champions Shanghai Port. Yunnan Yukun produced a strong attacking display at home, defeating Liaoning Tieren 5-0. Qingdao West Coast drew away against Wuhan Three Towns and earned one point.

Shandong Taishan rank sixth after drawing 1-1 at home with Shenzhen Peng City this round, bringing their points total to 37. They are only three points behind second-place Dalian Yingbo and still have a chance to compete for an AFC Champions League Two qualification place. Shanghai Port rank seventh with 33 points; Shanghai Shenhua and Chongqing Tonglianglong rank eighth and ninth respectively, with both teams currently on 31 points.

Zhejiang and Shenzhen Peng City both have 28 points, ranking 10th and 11th respectively; Henan have 26 points and rank 12th; Liaoning Tieren have 25 points and rank 13th; after winning this round, Tianjin Jinmen Tiger reached 22 points and rank 14th, temporarily moving out of the relegation zone. The bottom two teams in the standings are Wuhan Three Towns and Qingdao Hainiu, with 20 and 14 points respectively, and both are in the relegation zone.

The detailed results of Chinese Super League Round 26 are as follows:

Wuhan Three Towns 2-2 Qingdao West Coast

Shanghai Port 0-0 Beijing Guoan

Dalian Yingbo 2-1 Qingdao Hainiu

Shandong Taishan 1-1 Shenzhen Peng City

Chongqing Tonglianglong 1-3 Shanghai Shenhua

Yunnan Yukun 5-0 Liaoning Tieren

Henan 0-0 Chengdu Rongcheng

Tianjin Jinmen Tiger 2-1 Zhejiang
