Champions League Standings: Paris Lead on Goals Scored, Followed by Bayern, Barcelona and Manchester United

On September 11 Beijing time, all matches in the first round of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League league phase were completed.

Among the 18 matches in the opening round, 16 produced winners. Paris Saint-Germain currently sit at the top of the table due to an advantage of one more goal scored, while Bayern Munich, who also have a goal difference of five, rank second.

Barcelona and Manchester United both started their campaigns with four-goal victories, with the former also ranking third due to their goal difference advantage.

Champions League newcomers Como rank fifth after a three-goal winning performance, while two-goal winners Sporting CP, Stuttgart and Manchester City occupy sixth through eighth respectively.

Aston Villa, Real Betis, Borussia Dortmund, Lens, Liverpool, Real Madrid, Arsenal and AEK Athens, all of whom won by one goal, are ranked ninth through 16th respectively. PSV Eindhoven, Shakhtar Donetsk, Fenerbahce and Roma, who earned draws, are placed 17th through 20th.

All remaining teams that suffered defeats are placed in the bottom 16 positions of the standings, with Slovan Bratislava and Bodo/Glimt, who lost by five goals, occupying the final two places.
